STUDIES OF THE BONDING PROPERTIES OF REINFORCING STEEL IN SYNTHETIC RESIN MORTARS

UNTERSUCHUNGEN UEBER DIE VERBUNDEIGENSCHAFTEN VON BETONSTAHL IN KUNSTHARZMOERTELN

THE STUDIES CARRIED OUT IN THE PROJECT (SHORT-TERM EXTRACTION TESTS OF RIBBED STEELS EMBEDDED IN SYNTHETIC RESIN MORTAR) SHOWED THAT BONDING STRENGTH WAS VERY HIGH BUT THAT THERE WAS A MARKED DEPENDENCE OF THE BOND ON TEMPERATURE AND TERM OF LOADING. THE REQUIRED BONDING AND EMBEDMENT LENGTHS ARE TO BE DETERMINED FOR REINFORCING STEELS, PARTICULARLY AT HIGH TEMPERATURES AND DURING LONG-TERM HANDLING.
