THE OBJECT IS TO EXAMINE WHETHER AND HOW THE COMPOSITION AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF AN ASPHALT MATERIAL RICH IN CHIPPINGS, HAVING PARTICLE SIZE 0/16 MM ESTABLISHED BY EXTRACTION AND PARTICLE SIZE ANALYSES AND BY CREEP TESTS BEFORE AND AFTER DYNAMIC LOADING, ARE INFLUENCED BY THE PRIMARY PROPERTIES OF THE AGGREGATE. ASPHALT MIXTURES ARE TO BE MANUFACTURED IN THE LABORATORY. IN A FIRST SERIES OF TESTS, BY SYSTEMATIC VARIATION OF THE COMPRESSIVE LOADING AND THE TEMPERATURE, THE CONDITIONS FOR SIMULATING TRAFFIC LOADING ARE TO BE OPTIMIZED. IN A SECOND SERIES OF TESTS ASPHALTIC MIXTURES CONTAINING TEN DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF GRAVEL ARE TO BE SUBJECTED TO OSCILLATING LOADING AND EXAMINED FROM A COMPOSITION AND TECHNOLOGICAL VIEWPOINT. RESULTS ARE TO BE COMPARED WITH TEST RESULTS FROM SAMPLES NOT PRE-LOADED DYNAMICALLY.
