THE FOLLOWING WORK IS PLANNED: COMPARISON OF ROLLING NOISE MEASUREMENTS ON THE INTERNAL DRUM TEST RIG WITH STUDIES ON THE OPEN ROAD, AND DEVELOPMENT OF A SUITABLE MEASURING PROCEDURE; DETERMINATION OF THE ROLLING NOISE OF VARIOUS COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TYRES ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF SURFACING; TESTING OF THE ROLLING NOISE OF NEW TYRES WHICH ARE NOT COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE AND NEW TYPES OF SURFACING.
