FOR COARSE-GRAINED SOILS A TEST PROCEDURE WAS DEVELOPED AND TRIED OUT AS PART OF A PREVIOUS RESEARCH PROJECT - TESTING OF THE CEMENT CONTENT IN SOIL CEMENT MIXTURES WITH THE CALORIMETER. ASSOCIATED TESTS ARE TO BE CARRIED OUT ON SOILS WHICH REACT WITH HYDROCHLORIC ACID EVEN WHEN NOT TREATED WITH CEMENT.
