ACCELERATED ELECTROCHEMICAL STUDY OF THE BEHAVIOUR OF STEEL SUSCEPTIBLE AND NOT SUSCEPTIBLE TO WEATHERING IN A RURAL, URBAN, INDUSTRIAL AND MARINE ENVIRONMENT

ETUDE ELECTROCHIMIQUE ACCELEREE DU COMPORTEMENT D'ACIERS PATINABLES ET NON PATINABLES EN PRESENCE D'ATMOSPHERES RURALE, URBAINE, INDUSTRIELLE ET MARINE.

TO SIMULATE IN THE LABORATORY VARIOUS REAL ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS FROM OBSERVATIONS MADE IN STATIONS, AND TO STUDY UNDER THOSE SIMULATED CONDITIONS THE BEHAVIOUR OF STEEL SAMPLES IDENTICAL TO THESE EXPOSED TO REAL ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS IN STATIONS. THE ELECTROCHEMICAL METHOD OF ALTERNATE IMMERSION AND EMERSION OF CEBELCOR STEEL IN CONJUCTION WITH MICROGRAPHIC EXAMINATIONS (OPTIC AND SCANNING MICROSCOPE, CASTARING MICROPROBE, ETC) WILL BE USED IN THE STUDIES.
