THE RESEARCH IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PARTS: (1) STUDY OF THE LITERATURE; (2) MODEL TESTS TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF CRACK GEOMETRY ON THE TYPE AND EXTENT OF CORROSION OF TEST SAMPLES EQUIPPED WITH PLASTIC PLUGS; (3) MODEL TESTS TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF CRACK GEOMETRY ON TYPE AND EXTENT OF CORROSION OF SAMPLES COVERED WITH SYNTHETICALLY CARBONIZED CEMENT PASTE COATING IN THE REGION OF THE CRACKS.
