OVERALL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS OF SURFACE EFFECT SHIPS
Forty-seven areas of primary concern are identified in an analysis of six basic technical questions versus ten basic mission or environmental conditions which may place a demand on a surface effect ship. Several major problem areas are discussed to illustrate the significant factors in economy of operation and their trends.
