ON DEVELOPING A MODEL FOR COORDINATING MULTI-MODAL TRANSPORTATION PLANNING WITH LAND USE PLANNING
The paper addresses the issue of developing a model which would provide a methodological approach to multi-modal transportation planning which would be coordinated with land use planning. The research focuses on the task of integrating multi-modal considerations into the land-use allocation technique called TOPAZ, a computer process which was created to provide a workable tool to aid in sketch-plan generation and analysis.
