IN CONNECTION WITH THE LITERATURE EVALUATION, THE TESTS WHICH SHOULD BE PERFORMED IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A COMPLETE AND RELIABLE INSIGHT INTO THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE BEHAVIOUR OBSERVED IN THE TEST AND THE ACTUAL STRESSING OF STRUCTURES ARE TO BE CONSIDERED. FURTHERMORE, A TEST PROGRAMME IS TO BE DEVISED, WHEREBY WITH REALISTIC STRESS FUNCTIONS THE EFFECT OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PARAMETERS (OVERSTRESSING, STRESS RANGE, FREQUENCY, LOAD CYCLE, COLLECTIVELY WITH INCREASING LOAD OR CONTINUOUS STRAIN, REACTION PERIOD, RECOVERY PERIOD WITH STEADY LOADING AS WELL AS CORRESPONDING EFFECTS DEPENDING ON DEFORMATION FOR ALTERNATING FORCE) IS TO BE STUDIED.
