OBJECTIVE: WORKING OUT OF BASIC CONDITIONS FOR THE RELIABLE PLASTIC COATING OF CONCRETE FOR PROTECTING THE CONCRETE AGAINST MECHANICAL AND CHEMICAL STRESSES. STUDY OF THE CONCRETE-PLASTIC BOND SYSTEM AND DEFINITION OF THE DETERMINATIVE PARAMETERS WITH A VIEW TO DRAWING UP RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE COATING OF CONCRETE. PLAN OF WORK: TESTING OF VARIOUS CONCRETES WITH DIFFERENT MOISTURE CONTENTS AND SURFACE FINISHES BONDED TO VARIOUS COLD-HARDENING EPOXY RESIN COATINGS. ANTICIPATED ARE: CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL TESTING OF THE EPOXY RESINS USED, AND TESTING OF THE ADHESION STRENGTH OF THE BOND UNDER VARIOUS STRESSES, INCLUDING THERMAL STRESS.
