IN THE APPLICATION OF AN OVERALL TRAFFIC MODEL, THE DEFINITION OF A RESISTANCE WHICH WILL REPRESENT ALL MEANS OF TRANSPORT IS PARTICULARLY DIFFICULT. BASED ON EXISTING DATA FROM HOME SURVEYS IN LARGE RESIDENTIAL AREAS, A STUDY WILL BE MADE OF THE NATURE AND MAGNITUDE OF THE FACTOR 'TRAVEL RESISTANCE' GIVEN THE AVAILABILITY OF SEVERAL MEANS OF TRANSPORT.
