FIELD OF VISION IN THE LAYOUT OF ROADS

THE THEORY DESCRIBED IS PRESENTED AS AN ESSENTIALLY STATIC DRAFT STANDARD FOR ESTABLISHING THE ALIGNMENT CHARACTERISTICS WHICH GIVE A PERMANENT THREE-DIMENSIONAL VIEW OF THE ROAD IN THE FIELD OF VISION THAT CAN BE REPRESENTED AS A RECTANGLE ON THE WINDSCREEN. THE NOVELTY OF THE METHOD CONSISTS IN THE FACT THAT THE GEOMETRIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LONGITUDINAL ALIGNMENT DEPEND ON THE VISIBLE WIDTH. PART 2 OF THE THEORY HAS A DYNAMIC APPLICATION IN THE FORM OF A MATHEMATICAL LINK BETWEEN THE MOVEMENT OF THE VEHICLE AND THE OSCILLATING MOBILITY WITH WHICH THE POINT OF DISAPPEARANCE OF THE PERSPECTIVE IS PROJECTED IN THE FIELD OF VISION MATERIALIZED ON THE WINDSCREEN. THE SPECIFIC DESIGN SPEED OF THE ROAD CAN BE DETERMINED BY ESTABLISHING THE SPEED OF THE POINT OF DISAPPEARANCE OF THE PERSPECTIVE. EXAMPLES ARE GIVEN OF APPLICATIONS TO VARIOUS TRANSITION CURVES.
