THIS PUBLICATION OUTLINES A METHOD OF STUDYING ROCK SLOPE STABILITY BY MEANS OF STEREOGRAPHIC PROJECTION. BY REPRESENTING THE DISCONTINUITIES OF THE PLAN OF THE SLOPE, IT IS POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE THE ROCK MASSES KINEMATICALLY LIABLE TO SLIDE AND THOSE WHICH ARE AT HIGHEST RISK. THE SAFETY COEFFICIENT OF EACH ROCK MASS IS DETERMINED BY USING DATA ON THE DISCONTINUITIES' STRENGTH AND EXTERNAL FORCES, BASED ON THE P. LONDE METHOD.
