EFFICIENCY OF WHEEL LOADERS

RENDIMIENTO DE CARGADORES DE RUEDAS

IT IS ESTABLISHED THAT THE OUTPUT OF A WHEEL LOADER DEPENDS ON ITS WORK CAPACITY, BUCKET CAPACITY, DENSITY OF MATERIAL WORKED AND CYCLE DURATION. THE CAPACITY OF THE MACHINE IS FIXED; IT CAN BE INCREASED BY A COUNTERWEIGHT BUT THEN SPEED AND MANOEUVRABILITY ARE REDUCED. BUCKET CAPACITY DEPENDS ON THE WEIGHT OF THE MATERIAL AND OPERATING CONDITIONS. CYCLE DURATION IS DETERMINED BY DISTANCE TRAVELLED AND TIME REQUIRED FOR LOADING, UNLOADING AND MANOEUVRING. HOURLY PRODUCTION, OR EFFICIENCY, IS EQUIVALENT TO THE BUCKET LOAD PER CYCLE PER CYCLES/HOUR. IT IS CONCLUDED THAT THE CHOICE OF MACHINE NECESSARY IS DETERMINED BY THE EXPRESSION: REQUIRED OPERATING CAPACITY EQUAL TO THE VOLUME OF SOIL REMOVED BY THE MACHINE PER CYCLE BY THE SOIL DENSITY. THE OPERATING CAPACITY OF THE MACHINE CHOSEN MUST BE GREATER THAN THE REQUIRED CAPACITY GIVEN BY CALCULATION.
