L'INFLUENCE DES ADJUVANTS SUR L'ENERGIE SUPERFICIELLE DES PATES DE CIMENT PORTLAND

THIS ARTICLE DEALS WITH THE INFLUENCE OF 4 COMBINATIONS OF ADMIXTURE, E.G. CALCIUM CHLORIDE, LIGNOSULPHONATE+CALCIUM CHLORIDE AND LIGNOSULPHONATE+TRIETHANOLAMINE, ON THE STRENGTH AND SWELLING CHARACTERISTICS OF HARDENED CEMENT PASTE AND ON RESORPTION AFTER DRYING. THE CALCULATIONS BASED ON THE PROPERTIES OF THE PASTE AFTER RESORPTION AND ON THE APPLICATION OF GRIFFITHS EQUATION, SHOW THAT THE SIMPLE ADDITION OF ADMIXTURES MODIFIES THE FREE SURFACE ENERGY OF THE PASTE. WATER AND METHANOL FORMED ABSORBED PHASES AND NOTHING SHOWED THE INFLUENCE WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN THE RESULT OF THE ADDITION OF A SPECIFIC ADMIXTURE.
