EVALUATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF SOME CHEMICAL AND MINERALOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CEMENT ON CONCRETE SHRINKAGE

A MULTIDIMENSIONAL STATISTICAL ANALYSIS IS PERFORMED TO DETERMINE THE OPTIMUM PROPORTION OF ANHYDROUS SULPHUR TRIOXIDE IN CEMENT, WHICH CORRESPONDS TO A MINIMUM SHRINKAGE OF MORTAR MADE WITH THIS TYPE OF CEMENT. THE ACCURACY OF THE DETERMINATION OF THE OPTIMUM PROPORTION CAN BE INCREASED IF THE TRICALCIUM ALUMINATE RATE AND THE FINENESS OF CEMENT ARE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.
