RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SIMULATION CARRIED OUT AS PART OF ANOTHER RESEARCH PROJECT ARE TO BE APPLIED TO THE WHOLE MOTORWAY NETWORK. BASED ON KNOWLEDGE OF THE STRUCTURAL AND TRAFFIC FEATURES OF THE MOTORWAYS A PROCEDURE IS TO BE DEVELOPED BY MEANS OF WHICH THE RESULTS OF THE SIMULATION CAN BE CONVERTED TO AN AVERAGE SECTION OF 1000 KM TRAVELLED BY A BUS. UNCERTAIN ASPECTS OF THE CALCULATION PROCEDURE ARE TO BE INDICATED.
