PULLOUT BOND STRESS DISTRIBUTION UNDER STATIC AND DYNAMIC REPEATED LOADINGS

ECCENTRIC PULLOUT SPECIMENS WERE SUBJECTED TO REPEATED STATIC AND DYNAMIC LOADINGS TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF THE REPEATED LOADINGS ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF BOND STRESS ALONG A NO. 6 REINFORCING BAR. THE VARIABLES WERE CONCRETE STRENGTH, NUMBER OF REPETITIONS OF LOAD, AND LEVEL OF REPEATED LOADS. THE MEASURING TECHNIQUE AND THE EFFECTS OF THE ABOVE VARIABLES ARE DISCUSSED. /AUTHOR/
