ENROBES AIMES DANS LA MASSE

THIS STUDY DEALS WITH THE ADDITION OF PLASTIC BY-PRODUCTS TO BITUMINOUS MIXTURES. THE LABORATORY STUDY CONDUCTED IN 1974 AND THE EXPERIMENTAL SECTION BUILT IN 1975 SHOW THAT HOUSEHOLD BY-PRODUCTS, SATISFACTORILY CRUSHED MARKEDLY IMPROVE THE MECHANICAL BEHAVIOUR OF CONVENTIONAL BITUMINOUS MIXTURE, WHETHER THEY CONTAIN TAR OR BITUMEN. IT IS ENVISAGED IN 1976 TO: COMPLETE THE RESULTS OBTAINED WITH THE NEW EXPERIMENTAL SECTION CONTAINING BITUMEN AND PLASTIC BY-PRODUCTS; STUDY THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BITUMINOUS MIXTURES OBTAINED (TENSILE STRESS, ELASTIC MODULUS, FATIGUE); STUDY MIXTURES REINFORCED WITH NEW PLASTIC MATERIALS - NATURE, SHAPE, LENGTH OF PLASTIC ADMIXTURE AND PROPERTIES OF BITUMINOUS MIXTURES OBTAINED.
