TO DEVELOP A PAVEMENT DESIGN METHOD WHICH TAKES ACCOUNT OF FREEZING-THAWING PHENOMENA. THE FOLLOWING WORK WILL BE UNDERTAKEN: FROST-SENSITIVITY TESTS ON NON-STABILIZED SOIL; STUDY OF THE THERMAL PROPERTIES OF PAVEMENT MATERIALS; IN-SITU OBSERVATION; ADAPTATION OF THE GEL CALCULATION (IRRD NO 900030). PROGRAM TO COMPLEX CASES AND USE OF THE CURRENTLY OPERATIONAL PROGRAM WITH A VIEW TO TAKING INTO ACCOUNT FROST PHENOMENA IN THE FUTURE VERSION OF THE CATALOGUE OF PAVEMENT STRUCTURE. FURTHERMORE, A STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF FROST-SENSITIVITY TEST RESULTS WILL BE CONDUCTED, AND FROST-SENSITIVITY TESTS WILL BE CONDUCTED ON STABILIZED SOILS.
