OPTIMIZATION OF THE LINING OF UNDERGROUND CAVITIES - EXAMPLE: ANCHORED LINING

OPTIMIERUNG DES AUSBAUS IN UNTERTAEGIGEN HOHLRAEUMEN - BEISPIEL: ANKERAUSBAU

CONSTRUCTION INVOLVING THE USE OF ANCHORED LININGS MAY BE DIVIDED INTO TWO WORKING PATTERNS OF THE ANCHOR AND ROCK SYSTEM. IN THE FIRST ONE ASSUMES THE LINING FORMS A STIFF STRUCTURE (STIFF PLATE, STIFF ARCH). UNDER THESE CONDITIONS THE ANCHOR-ROCK SYSTEM IS LOADED WITH A PRESSURE, WHICH DERIVES FROM THE PRIMARY STRESS CONDITION. THE AUTHOR HERE SUGGESTS A NEW SOLUTION WHEREBY A YIELDING SYSTEM IS CONSIDERED. THE ANCHORED ZONE FORMS A STRUCTURE WHICH CAN DEFORM. THE DEFORMATION RESULTS IN STRESS RELEASING OF THE ROCK SLOPES AND THE PRESSURE ON THE LINING DROPPED TO THE LEVEL OF THE BREAKING UP PRESSURE. FORMULAE HAVE BEEN DERIVED WHICH MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO CALCULATE THE LOAD BEARING CAPACITY OF THE ANCHORED LINING. FINALLY, THE INFLUENCE OF THE RISE ON THE ARCH ON THE STABILITY OF THE ROOF IS ANALYSED. THE COVERING ABSTRACT OF THE CONFERENCE IS IRRD NO 308251.
