THE OBJECT OF THE RESEARCH IS TO PRODUCE BASIC PHYSICAL AND TECHNICAL DATA RELATING TO NOISE REDUCTION IN THE COOLING AND VENTILATION SYSTEMS, TAKING ACCOUNT OF SPECIAL TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC REQUIREMENTS AND BOUNDARY CONDITIONS RELATED TO INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES, AND ALSO TO DESCRIBE THE QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE EFFECTS OF VARIOUS FACTORS ON INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS AND THE TOTAL SYSTEM. THE AIM IS TO ACHIEVE NOISE REDUCTIONS OVER THE WHOLE SYSTEM OF AT LEAST 10 DB.
