THE MISSOURI PROJECT WAS DESCRIBED AT THE TWENTY-FIRST ANNUAL MEETING OF THE HIGHWAY RESEARCH BOARD (1941) AND THE PROPOSED MEASUREMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS OUTLINED. THIS REPORT COVERS THE PERIOD FROM THE DATE OF CONSTRUCTION, JUNE 1941, THROUGH AUGUST 1944, ADDING SOME DESCRIPTIVE DETAILS, OMITTED FROM THE ORIGINAL REPORT, AND GIVING A SUMMARY OF THE CROSS-JOINT MEASUREMENTS AND THE CONDITION SURVEYS. /AUTHOR/
