THE PERFORMANCE OF CONCRETE RESURFACING IN INDIANA

THE RESULTS OF FIELD PERFORMANCE SURVEYS OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE RESURFACING PROJECTS IN INDIANA ARE REPORTED. DETAILED DATA ON BOTH THE DESIGN AND THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS ARE PRESENTED. IT IS CONCLUDED THAT THE CONCRETE RESURFACING USED HAS, IN GENERAL, SHOWN POTENTIALLY LONG SERVICE LIFE WITH BETTER RESISTANCE TO PUMPING THAT FULL-DEPTH SLABS, BUT HAS SHOWN DURABILITY INFERIOR TO THAT OF FULL-DEPTH PAVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED WITH THE SAME MATERIALS AND IN THE SAME PROJECT. /AUTHOR/
