THE PUMPING COMMITTEE HAS COMPLETED THREE MAJOR PROJECTS DURING 1945: (1) A SURVEY OF THE PUMPING OF CONCRETE PAVEMENTS IN NORTH CAROLINA; (2) A SURVEY OF THE PUMPING OF CONCRETE PAVEMENTS IN KANSAS; AND (3) THE PREPARATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE DESIGN OF RIGID PAVEMENT DESIGN.
