EXTRACT FROM REPORT ON VIRGINIA FEDERAL AID PROJECT 371-C
AN EXPERIMENTAL CONCRETE ROAD WAS CONSTRUCTED IN COOPERATION WITH THE BUREAU OF PUBLIC ROADS TO DEMONSTRATE THE EFFECT OF CERTAIN VARIABLES. THE DATA PRESENTED SERVE AS A RECORD OF THE EXPERIMENTS UNDER WAY AND WILL BE USEFUL FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES IN THE FUTURE. THE PAVEMENT IS LAID NEAR BULL RUN, VIRGINIA. SIZE AND TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION ARE GIVEN FOR EACH STATION.
