THE BOSCH FUEL INJECTION EQUIPMENT K-JETRONIC AND L-JETRONIC IS BRIEFLY DESCRIBED. THESE SYSTEMS HAVE THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES: HIGH TORQUE, FAIRLY LOW EXHAUST EMISSION, FAIRLY LOW FUEL CONSUMPTION, LOW COLD START LIMIT, BETTER COLD RUNNING PROPERTIES AND GREATER FLEXIBILITY. PRACTICAL TESTS INDICATE THE NUMBER OF THESE SYSTEMS WILL INCREASE IN FUTURE. A NEW TYPE OF AIR QUANTITY METER IS CURRENTLY BEING TESTED BY BOSCH IN COOPERATION WITH THE CAR INDUSTRY, AND A BRIEF DESCRIPTION IS GIVEN OF THIS. EFFORTS ARE BEING MADE TO USE DIGITAL TECHNIQUES TO CONSTRUCT FUTURE GENERATIONS OF THIS CONTROL EQUIPMENT.
