DIGITAL MEANS TO CONTROL THE LONGITUDINAL MOVEMENT OF VEHICLES

BEITRAEGE ZUR REGELUNG DER LAENGSBEWEGUNG VON KRAFTFAHRZEUGEN MIT DIGITALEN MITTELN

PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH CONTROLLING WHEEL LOCKING AND CONTROLLING DISTANCES BETWEEN VEHICLES WERE INVESTIGATED. LAWS GOVERNING THESE WERE DEVELOPED TOGETHER WITH THE PROGRAMS AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONTROLLING SIGNALS BY MEANS OF A MICROPROCESSOR. IN CONTRAST TO PRESENT CONCEPTS OF DISTANCE CONTROL, WHICH MAINLY RELATE TO DRIVING IN A LINE OF VEHICLES, A COMPREHENSIVE CONCEPT COVERING THE WHOLE AREA OF DRIVING WAS DEVELOPED BASED ON SAFE FOLLOWING DISTANCE.
