THE WORK IS TO PROVIDE DATA ON LANE WIDTHS NEEDED, TAKING SPECIAL ACCOUNT OF THE DYNAMIC VEHICLE PROPERTIES ON A WET ROAD AND HIGHER PERMISSIBLE SPEEDS FOR CARS PULLING CARAVANS. THE STUDY IS BEING CARRIED OUT ON A COMPUTER USING A SUITABLE DYNAMIC VEHICLE SIMULATION MODEL. DRIVING CONDITIONS TO BE STUDIED ARE STRAIGHT AHEAD DRIVING IN WINDS, MEETING AND OVERTAKING MANOEUVRES AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, AND ADHESION COEFFICIENTS.
