RUNOFF COMPUTATIONS AND DRAINAGE INLETS FOR PARKWAYS IN LOS ANGELES

COMPUTATION OF RUNOFF UNDER RESTRICTED CONDITATIONS (RUNOFF FROM THE FLAT PAVED SURFACES AND FROM HE SLOPES OF THE GRADING SECTION OF A HIGH SPEED EXPRESSWAY AND ITS INGRESS AND EGRESS RAMPS) IS CONSIDERED. THE METHOD IS BASED ON HYDROLOGIC STUDIES. THE CHARTS AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE BASED ON LOCAL RAINFALL CURVES AND CONDITATIONS, AND METHODS ARE SUGGESTED FOR THEIR USE WITH OTHER CURVES AND CONDITIONS. DERIVATION IS EXPLAINED FOR CHARTS OF CAPACITY OF SINGLE AND MULTIPLE GRATING CATCH BASINS. /AUTHOR/
