PLAN FOR ACQUISITION AND USE OF RAILROAD RIGHTS-OF-WAY
This study was made for the MBTA to develop the best transportation use of the railroad rights-of-way serving Boston area within the limits of Interstate route 495. Forty-seven rights-of-way were included in the study totalling 553 miles. The study covers both railroad freight system requirements and rapid transit use of the railroad rights-of-way.
