NEW METHODS OF CONCRETE FINISHING IN NEVADA

DEVELOPMENT OF THE READY-MIX BONDED GROUT FINISH BY THE PABCO PAINT COMPANY OF RENO, AND THE METHOD OF APPLICATION BY THE LINDELL PAINTING SERVICE HAS RESULTED IN AN ECONOMICALLY SMOOTH METHOD OF FINISH IN CONCRETE. SURFACE PREPARATION AND MIX PREPARATION ARE DESCRIBED. THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR EQUIPMENT AND METHODS USED IN APPLICATION OF THE BONDED GROUT FINISH MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. LINDELL APPLIES THE FINISH WITH A SPRAY GUN WHICH HAS AN AIR SPRAY FOR CLEANING DEBRIS FROM WEEP HOLES AND DRAIN SPOUTS AS THE SPRAYING PROGRESSES. THE FINISH SHOULD ADHERE TO THE SURFACE AFTER SEVEN DAYS. AS SET UP IN THE SPECIFICATIONS, IT IS SUBJECTED TO HAND RUBBING AT THIS TIME TO CONFIRM ITS ADEQUACY. THE PRODUCT HAS GIVEN EXCELLENT RESULTS, AND IS AVAILABLE IN FIVE SHADES FROM WHITE TO DARK GRAY AND ALSO IN OTHER PASTEL COLORS.
