A LITERATURE REVIEW IS COUPLED WITH A SURVEY OF SEVEN EXPERIMENTS BETWEEN 1898 AND 1926 TO DESCRIBE THE CURRENT STATE OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CONCRETE FATIGUE UNDER DIFFERENT LOADS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. DETAILED SUGGESTIONS FOR FURTHER RESEARCH ARE MADE.
