STRESS DISTRIBUTION BETWEEN FLEXURE CRACKS

A METHOD OF FABRICATING EPOXY RESIN MODELS TO SIMULATE REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS WITH FLEXURE CRACKS IS DESCRIBED. THE MODELS WERE THEN LOADED UNDER POLARIZED LIGHT AND THE RESULTING STRESS PATTERNS WERE SKETCHED. /AUTHOR/
