HARDENING OF CONCRETE WITH FROST RESISTANT ADMIXTURES IN WINTER (IN FRENCH)

THE MAIN CONDITION ENSURING CONCRETE HARDENING UNDER MINUS TEMPERATURE IS REDUCTION OF FREEZING TEMPERATURE FOR LIQUID PHASE AT THE EXPENSE OF INTRODUCTION OF SOME CHEMICAL COMBINATIONS IN ITS COMPOSITION. THE PRESENCE OF ADMIXTURE AND LOW TEMPERATURE BRINGS TO THE CHANGE SPEED AND A PHYSICOCHEMICAL HARDENING PROCESS, WHICH TAKES PLACE IN NORMAL CONDITIONS. CONSIDERABLE CHANGES ARE OBSERVED IN THESE CASES WHEN THE ADMIXTURES TAKE PART IN THE PROCESS OF HYDRATATION OF PORTLAND CEMENT CLINKER MINERALS AND ESPECIALLY SILICATE ONES. IT IS NECESSARY THAT HARDENING INTENSITY WILL FORM A SUFFICIENT DEGREE OF CEMENT HYDRATATION IN ORDER TO FORM A DENSE CONCRETE STRUCTURE CAPABLE OF RESISTING THE HARMFUL INFLUENCE OF FROST. /LCPC/ A/RRL/
