NEW DESIGN OF ELECTRO-MECHANICAL WEIGHING MACHINES AND THEIR USE IN CRANE INSTALLATION

(EINE NEU BAUFORM ELEKTROMECHANISCHER WAAGEN UND DEREN EINSATZ IN KRANALAGEN)

High-impedance load cells have been developed using extensometer strips; thanks to their high output voltage, measured values can be transmitted over long distances with help of contact-ring cable reels using nonamplifier circuits or, if greater accuracy is required, using simple compensation systems for indication work; motor compensator has been developed for precision readings; typical applications are included to illustrate incorporation of electromechanical weighing machines in batching facilities, suspension tracks, slewing cranes and straddle carriers.
