APPLICATIONS OF PLASTICS FOR MARINE OUTFITTING AND MARINE INSTALLATIONS

The report gives an analysis of the application possibilities of plastics to the outfitting of ships and installations in ships. The properties of these materials are given, and their applications to plastic gears, bearings, propellers, tubes, damping systems, decorative laminations, and plastic covers of ship floors as well as anti-corrosive coatings.
