A COMPOSITE U-BEAM BRIDGE SUPERSTRUCTURE WAS DEVELOPED IN ORDER TO REALIZE INCREASED ECONOMY WITH PRECAST, PRESTRESSED BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION. THE CONCEPT OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM IS PRESENTED, AND DIRECT COST COMPARISONS WITH EXISTING BRIDGES ARE MADE. /PCIJ/
