HARDENED PORTLAND CEMENT PASTES OF LOW POROSITY. III DEGREE OF HYDRATION. EXPANSION OF PAST. TOTAL POROSITY

THE DEGREE OF HYDRATION, THE EXPANSION DURING HYDRATION, AND THE TOTAL PROSITY OF LOW-POROSITY PORTLAND CEMENT PASTES WERE INVESTIGATED AT HYDRATION TIMES RANGING FROM 1 HOUR TO 180 DAYS. THE EFFECT OF THE TYPE OF CEMENT (TYPE 1 AND 11), THE GRINDING AID, THE SURFACE OF THE CEMENT, THE WATER- CEMENT RATIO (0.2 AND 0.3), AND THE TEMPERATURE OF HYDRATION (5 DEGREES, 25 DEGREES AND 50 DEGREES C) WERE DETERMINED. /AUTHOR/
