DETERMINATION OF THE VISCOUS DRAG OF A SHIP MODEL

Modification and refinements of equipment, techniques and method of analysis of wake survey data for determining the viscous drag of a ship model are described. At low Froude numbers results are in better agreement with a correlation line than previous values, but strong variation of viscous drag with Froude number is confirmed. ( Author )
