Neue Wege beim Betrieb von Verkehrsrechnern in Thueringen / New approaches to the management of traffic control centres in Thuringia

Zur makroskopischen Steuerung der Lichtsignalanlagen im thueringischen Saalfeld wurde 1995 vom Strassenbauamt Mittelthueringen eine Verkehrsrechnerzentrale (VRZ) errichtet. Sich aendernde Verkehrsverhaeltnisse und neue Anforderungen der Strassenverkehrsbehoerden erfordern eine staendige Anpassung der implementierten Steuerungssoftware im Betrieb, damit die technischen Moeglichkeiten der Makrosteuerung in gleich bleibend hoher Qualitaet genutzt werden koennen. Daher lag es nahe, das bei der Planung und Projektierung beteiligte Ingenieurbuero auch beim Betrieb der VRZ Saalfeld einzubeziehen. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden die Erfahrungen aus zwei Jahren Betriebsfuehrung in Aufgabenteilung zwischen Strassenbauverwaltung und Ingenieurbuero beschrieben. ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: In 1995 the Highway district office of Central Thuringia established a traffic computer centre for the macroscopic control of traffic signals in the city of Saalfeld, Thuringia. Changing traffic conditions and new demands of transportation authorities require continuous adjustments of the implemented controlling software in operation in order to keep the technical possibilities of macro controlling at a constant high level of quality. For the operation of the computer centre in Saalfeld it seemed to be appropriate to include the consulting engineers office which had already been responsible for the plan and execution of the project. In this article experiences are described of the two year operation and the allocation of responsibilities between both the consulting engineers office and the Highway district office. (A)
