MIXTURE RESISTANCE OF CATIONIC EMULSION SLURRIES /IN GERMAN/

CATIONIC EMULSION SLURRIES ARE MIXTURES OF GRADUATED PARTICLES OF FILLERS AND MIXTURES, BITUMEN EMULSIONS, WATER AND ADDITIVES. THE MOST COMMON ADDITIVES ARE WETTING AGENTS, WHICH RETARD THE BREAKING OF THE BITUMEN EMULSION, AND PRECIPITANTS, WHICH ACCELERATE THE BREAKING PROCESS. TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF THE DIFFERENT MIXTURE COMPONENTS IN THE INDIVIDUAL PHASES OF THE PRODUCTION, INCORPORATION, AND BREAKING PROCESS, IT IS NECESSARY TO ASCERTAIN A CHARACTERTISTIC FACTOR, WHICH PERMITS MAKING STATEMENTS ON THE MISCIBILITY AND WORKABILITY OF EMULSION SLURRIES. KNOWLEDGE OF THE MIXTURE RESISTANCE AND ITS CHANGE DURING PRODUCTION, WORKUP, AND BREAKING PROCESS IS SIGNIFICANT FOR PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF THE DIRECT SLURRY PROCESS. IT GIVES INDICATIONS ON THE MISCIBILITY, MIXING DURATION, DESIGN OF THE DRIVE OF THE MIXED, WORKABILITY, PROCESSING TIME, PENETRATION OF THE EMULSION SLURRIES INTO THE EMPTY SPACES OF THE HIGHWAY SURFACE TO BE SEALED, AND THE BREAKING TIME. /AUTHOR/
