46. Aenderung der StVO - Schwerpunkt Radverkehr / 46th change of the Road Traffic Regulations - Main theme cycling

Im Jahr 1997 machte die Aktualisierung der damaligen Strassenverkehrs-Ordnung (StVO) zusammen mit der ueberarbeiteten Verwaltungsvorschrift (VwV) als so genannte Fahrradnovelle Furore. Seit dem 1. September 2009 gibt es mit der 46. Aenderung der StVO und der zugehoerigen VwV eine neue richtungsweisende Novellierung, die insbesondere im Radverkehr und allgemein fuer den gesamten innerstaedtischen Verkehr deutliche Verbesserungen bringt. Im Spannungsfeld zwischen Verordnungen, Vorschriften, Richtlinien und Empfehlungen wird im Beitrag versucht, Klarheit bei der Anwendung der StVO und zugehoeriger VwV zu schaffen sowie daneben auch die wesentlichen Neuerungen aufzuzeigen. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: In the year 1997 the actualization of road traffic regulations at that time caused sensation together with the revised administrative regulation as the so-called "bicycle novella". On the 1st of September 2009 with the 46th change of the road traffic regulations and the associated revised administrative regulation there is a new amendment pointing the way, which brings generally clear improvements foreseeable in particular as regards cycling and also for the entire traffic in the city. In the area of conflict between regulations, guidelines and recommendations in the report it tries to create clarity with the application of the road traffic regulations and the associated revised administrative regulation as well as to also point out the substantial innovations.
