Effect of Cement Characteristics on Concrete Properties

This publication discusses how different cement characteristics affect properties of fresh and hardened concrete. Cement characteristics include chemical composition (main composition, Bogue calculation, alkalies, sulfates, minor components, loss on ignition, insoluble residue) and physical properties (fineness, particle size distribution, setting, compressive strength, heat of hydration, soundness).
