GROUTING TREATMENTS PRIOR TO TUNNELLING IN DIFFICULT GROUND CONDITIONS
This paper describes general grouting techniques used for treatments prior to tunnelling in order to face adverse soil conditions. Two major types of treatment are considered relating to tunnels in urban environment and tunnels with important overburden. A few case histories of the two types are presented. /TRRL/
