SIMULATION MODEL TO INVESTIGATE THE PROPAGATION AND SUPERPOSITION OF HARMONIC VIBRATIONS IN THE RAILWAY NETWORK
LABORATORIUMSMODELL ZUR UNTERSUCHUNG DER AUSBREITUNG UND SUPERPOSITION VON OBERSCHWINGUNGEN IM BAHNNETZ
When tractive units with rectifier control are put into service, the results of harmonic vibrations which occur in the network should be taken into account. A description is given of a laboratory model which simulates and evaluates the superposition of harmonic vibrations when several tractive units are introduced into a specific network configuration. Comparisons made with action taken on the CFF network confirm the usefulness of the model.
