Working with wildlife site guide
This guide presents information and guidance to enable a wide range of people working in, with or for the construction industry to stay within the UK law relating to wildlife, and to understand and implement good practice in relation to wildlife on development and construction projects. It provides an introduction to legislation governing wildlife / construction issues, practical guidance on dealing with wildlife on sites, references and contacts where further guidance can be obtained, and briefings on individual species and different types of habitats. It is intended for use as a guide principally for those working at the construction site level.
