Analysis of Driver’s Behavior at Yellow Signal in Intersection
The traffic accident is one of the most important social problems in Japan. The Dilemma control is mentioned as one of the measures against a traffic accident. However, the dilemma control has some problems in present. In this paper, the focus problem is two problems. One of them, Dilemma control is micro control. But, in present Dilemma control not consider regional differences, so uniform control parameter the country. Another, since based only on theory, is necessarily unbefitting with actual traffic. In this paper is focus to drivers behavior at after green time has regional difference into consideration. Analysis is the factor which influences driver's judgment. Influence is drivers judgment to go through or stop at yellow signal. In this paper is examination of driver's judgment action in intersection and that the report of result. Next, report of driver's behavior attribution analysis use the data obtained from examination. Last, in consideration of regional difference, the attribution-analysis result was used and the calculation method of a domain that judgment of passage or a stop was divided was established, after that, This zone was named Different zone and proposed to new focus zone of Dilemma control.
