MOBILE TELEPHONE SIMULATOR STUDY

This study consists of four separate experiments that were conducted in the VTI (Swedish National Road Administration) driving simulator. The common theme was to investigate in which way the driver behavior and traffic safety are influenced when the driver attends to another technical device while driving. Results demonstrated that mobile conversation while driving caused increased mental workload.
