INFLUENCE OF MAJOR CHARACTERISTICS OF ICEBREAKER HULLS ON THEIR POWERING REQUIREMENTS AND MANEUVERABILITY IN ICE
The ice resistance equation developed from the parametric test results was used in an optimization program to provide the main dimensions, power, and estimated cost of a least-initial-cost large polar icebreaker.
